What's next for the Southern Lancashire Heeler Owners?Another enjoyable and successful event. We raised £308,a donation of £150 will go to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and also a donation will go towards DNA research for PLL. Thank you to everyone who sponsored/ helped /judged/ stewarded/ took part/ lent equipment or donated prizes especially P.P.S Pet Supplies and James Wellbeloved - you all helped to make this day a success. THANK YOU. " I really wanted to come to the show to meet some other Heelers, having not come across another one since I collected Asbo from Traqdean in January. I wasn't disappointed! The parade was great fun, and a fair few people came up to me and Asbo afterwards to ask about the breed, where it originated, what the dogs were used for etc - I was glad I'd done my research before picking a Heeler! An absolute bonus for me was meeting Alfred, Asbo's litter mate, and also Turbo, his half brother - and seeing Turbo do both agility and doggy dancing was an inspiration! Entering the show itself was really secondary for us, as Asbo is my first heeler I had no idea how he would rate, and never having shown a dog before I wasn't at all sure if we'd muddle through! I was so thrilled when he won the special yearling class, and gob-smacked to get the reserve best in breed Thank you so much for organising such a fun day, Asbo and I wouldn't have missed it for the world."
